    Halloween Dunfanaghy

    Location: Dunfanaghy, Co.Donegal

    Dunfanaghy's Halloween Week!

    A most unwelcome welcome to the 'All hallows eve' festivities in Dunfanaghy Village. The ancient gaelic festival marks the end of the summer harvest, a time where the ancient Celts believed that on October 31st, now known as Halloween, the boundary between the living and the deceased dissolved, and the dead become dangerous for the living. Join us in the village for a traditional all hallows eve with a fantastic torch-lit procession and fireworks extravaganza as well as a big Halloween party night!

    This Halloween Dunfanaghy is putting on a fantastic week of events for all to enjoy. The picturesque wee town has much to offer for travelers, group and family holidays as well as for people in the local area!

    Throughout the week we're are running our hallows week of surf with the kids camp running at 11am daily and the adults lessons in the afternoon. We have a shop party planned on the Saturday after the surf lessons with face painting, spooky dips and a prize giving session for the kids surf week!

    Arnold's Hotel has a fantastic array of entertainment from a village treasure hunt to to live music and a kids halloween party!

    The cafe's in Dunfanaghy will have a variety of horrible halloween fancies for you to get your teeth into, the Carig Rua Hotel has a full week of spooky going's on and Roonies disco is having another epic fancy dress club night!

    The main event is the Torchlit procession from the Ozanam Centre down to the Peir at 6pm on the 31st! Then the Fireworks extravaganza starts at 7pm on the Dunfanaghy Peir!So come along, pop into the town to see all the going's on and enjoy the week!

    Surf Coaching Weekend Sept

    Location: Dunfanaghy, Co.Donegal

    Starts: Friday 16th September 2011

    Ends: Sunday 18th September 2011

    This is set to be an unbelievable weekend for improving surfers. We are so passionate about surfing at Narosa and have a wealth of experience to share. The rough outline for the weekend is to surf as much as possible with some fantastic surf fitness and dynamic yoga mixed in. We'll make huge advancements in your surfing ability, whatever your level!     Mount Errigal Summit

    Location: Mount Errigal, North Donegal

    Starts: Saturday 28th August 2010

    Ends: Sunday 29th August 2010

    Climb Errigal under the supervision of experienced walker, munroist and mountaineer.

    Errigal dominates the town at the foot of its mass rock of Dunlewy. Enjoy a spectacular climb in the poisoned glen at the height of the Rosses and home of NA ROSA. Descover the inspiration for the walking side of the brand and be a part of a sunning visual experience and discovery.

    We will aim the walk for the Sunday but have allowed the full weekend for changes in weather. The route will be a strenuous walk and requires modest fitness and the ability to walk for up to 4hours. We will take a lesser used route following the ridge line in a gradual rise towards the summit.
    To summit should be approx 1h30min with 30 min for lunch and to enjoy the views and 1h30min to return.

    The walk requires the use of walking shoes or approach climbing shoes and all participant must have a rucksack containing the following. Wet weather gear, water , food and additional layers.
    Places are limited so book early for your chance to summit a fantastic peak.

    Muckish Summit

    Location: Muckish Mountain, North Donegal

    Starts: Saturday 21st August 2010

    Ends: Saturday 21st August 2010
